An exploration of the ministry of the whole People of God, grounded in Baptism and the calling of all Christians to participate in the mission of the Church. The course examines the ministry of the laity, the relationship between clergy and laity, the gifts and vocation of each member of the Church, and the formation of lay persons for faithful service. Particular attention is given to the ministry of Lay Readers as leaders who serve the Church with faith, prayerfulness, authenticity, skill, and a pastoral heart.

Course Description:
An introduction to the study of Holy Scripture and its central place in Christian faith, discipleship, worship, and ministry. The course provides an overview of the Old and New Testaments, exploring the formation, structure, historical and cultural contexts, literary forms, major themes, and theological witness of the biblical writings. Attention is given to the Prophetic Books, Writings, Gospels, Epistles, and Revelation, helping participants engage Scripture thoughtfully and faithfully within the life and ministry of the Church.
